昨年度までおこなっていた実験の論文が8月に出来上がりましたので前期と内容は重なりますが発表させていただきます。
タイトル:Effect of Temperature on the Time Requirement of Pollen Tubes to Penetrate into the Embryo Sac after Pollination in Cherimoya(Annona cherimola Mill.)
(受粉後の温度がチェリモヤ(Annona cherimola Mill.)の花粉管伸長に及ぼす影響)


上記と併せて、今年度行った樹上での受粉後の恒温処理実験の結果が大方出そろいましたので、データはまだ完全ではないのですが報告させていただきます。


切り花を恒温器で培養し雌蕊内での花粉管伸長の経時観察をおこなった昨年度の実験から、チェリモヤの雌蕊内での花粉管伸長には24-27℃が好適で、開花期後半の充実した花では5-6時間で花粉管が雌蕊まで到達することが明らかとなった。しかし、受粉後の温度条件が果実の品質に及ぼす影響は明らかとなっていない。そこで、チェリモヤの樹上に恒温器を取り付けた発泡スチロール製の箱を設置し、受粉後の花に約18時間の恒温処理をおこなった。受粉から135日で果実を収穫し果実重と対称度を記録し、追熟後にBrix、種子数および種子重を測定した。

This week, I will give my presentation. The content will be on my paper, which title is "Effect of Temperature on the Time Requirement of Pollen Tubes to Penetrate into the Embryo Sac after Pollination in Cherimoya(Annona cherimola Mill.)", and on the result of this year experiment (the data have not been all present).


Incubating the detached cheirmoya flowers after pollinaiton and observing the pollen-tube growth in the pistils chronologically, the experiment showed that the optimum temperature range for pollen-tube growth in the pisitl was 24-27℃, and that 5-6 hours were required for pollen tubes to penetrate into the embryo sacs at the well-matured flowers in the later flowering period. However, the effect of temperatures after pollination on the fruit quality has not revealed. Then, the pollinated flowers were incubated on the trees for 18 hours after pollination by using styrene foam boxes equipped with small incubators. The fruits were harvested at the 135 days after pollination and the fruit weight and the symmetry index were recorded, and after ripening, the Brix and the seed number and weight were measured.
