熱帯果樹の古葉における養分と開花結実の関係

　マンゴーの葉では加齢とともにデンプン含量が増加し、古葉が養分貯蔵器官としての役割をしている。
ライチ、ドリアン、マンゴスチンの葉においても同様のことが考えられる。しかし、この養分が何のた
めに貯蔵されているかは現在明らかになっていない。
　本実験ではデンプン含量の年間を通じた変化を調べ、開花結実との関係を明らかにすることが目的である。

Relation between photosynthetic products in old leaves and flowering and fruition

In leaves of mango, the starch contents increase with aiging. And old leaves have the role
as storage organs. In litchi, durian and mangosteen, leaves may have same role. However, at
present, the purpose of the accumulation is not clear.
The objective of this study is to investigate variation of starch contents throughout year
and reveal relation between contents and flowering and fruition.
